Our story
It all started randomly in 2017, when Tom met Claude Leroy, the author of Gygès, at a café terrace deep in the Cévennes.
Coming from the graphic arts, Tom started designing the prototypes of some of Claude's games, thus giving birth to the beginnings of the Cosmoludo adventure.
The publishing company was officially founded in March 2020 with the release of our four first games: Hokito, Mana, Pantareï, and Kamon, signed by Bruno Cathala.
Since then, many steps have been taken. We have expanded our range with two new titles, Yoxii and Oxono by Jérémy Partinico, games with innovative concepts that maintain the simplicity and modernity of our beginnings.
Today, our ambition is clear: to make Cosmoludo an essential reference in the publishing of modern abstract games that are accessible to everyone.
A perfect balance between power and simplicity
Our games meet a need, sometimes conscious, sometimes unconscious: that of stimulating the mind with simple and clever objects.
Our ambition is to offer those who seek it a moment of freedom. For about fifteen minutes, energy focuses on the essentials: a board, pieces, and a mechanic. No superfluous themes, just a streamlined and functional universe that emphasizes the tangible and the pure joy of play.
Each game tells a story that reinvents itself every time with a unique scenario shaped by the players' choices.
Today, all our games are exclusively designed for 2 players. But the adventure continues: we are already working on multiplayer formats to further enrich our catalog.
