Goal of the game

Get more points than your opponent around the Totem when it is completely surrounded and immobilized.

How to play?

Each player in turn moves the totem one square, in any direction, then places one of his pieces on a free square around the totem's new position.

The pieces are divided into 4 values: O is worth 1 point, II is worth 2 points, Y is worth 3 points and X is worth 4 points.
You can jump over pieces of your color to chain moves and position yourself where the terrain is favorable to you.

End of game: The player with the most points around the Totem when it is completely surrounded and immobilised wins the game.

Game Tips

Initially, the Totem is placed in the center of the board.

The opening of the game is very strategic and the endgames are more combinatorial, given that you can jump over pieces of your own color to go further.

Alternative for young children:To facilitate learning, you can play with the pieces turned over, only with the color, which allows you to discover the mechanics in a more accessible way to begin with.
